Phnom Penh’s Royal Railway Station was built in 1930s during the French Colonial period and made of reinforced concreted structures with western architecture, and it has become an iconic spot in the city. Our client, Train Square Co., Ltd., is conducting a renovation to turn this antique building into a modern entertainment centre and hangout spot named “Royal Train Square”. It will include shops, cafes, restaurants, banks, offices and exhibition space.
The entire object comprises approx. 5.095 sqm gross floor area.
Our role involves providing structural engineering support to ensure that the building retains its architectural charm while meeting the needs of modern amenities. The entire project spans approximately 5,095 sqm of gross floor area, and we are focused on maintaining the integrity of this historic landmark while enhancing its functionality for the future.
