gbc engineers is supporting the new construction of Data Center VDC FRA61 for Vantage Data Centers in Bad Vilbel, Zeppelinstraße 24, 26, Massenheim, Germany. The data center building consists of a basement, a ground floor and two upper floors, with each floor containing two data modules of 3.5 MW capacity each. Upon completion, the data center is expected to support up to 13 generators and provide a total IT load capacity of 21 MW. The building has a gross floor area of approximately 23,900 m².
Our primary focus is on the structural design of the new data center building, from the basement through the two upper floors. This includes the structural design (work stages 2/3-5 / LP2/3-5), the workshop design for the precast elements, and coordinating the BIM model throughout the design process.
