Phnom Penh International Airport, the busiest and largest airport in Cambodia, went through a renovation. As a part of this renovation, a Solar PV System was installed on existing roofs of the airport's buildings. Participating in this project, gbc engineers provided Roof Structural Survey, as well as Structural Analysis and Assessment Report for the terminal and ground handling building.
The entire object comprises approx. 14.604 sqm gross floor area.
Our role in this project involved conducting a comprehensive Roof Structural Survey, along with providing Structural Analysis and an Assessment Report for both the terminal and the ground handling building. With the entire project spanning approximately 14,604 sqm of gross floor area, our team ensured that the roofs were structurally sound to support the added weight and requirements of the Solar PV System, contributing to the airport’s sustainability goals.
